, Geeti. Many friends that you make through chatting on the Internet, may really be rogues and they may harm you later,” said Mili. Geeti yelled, “Mili, will you stop it! You are such a wet blanket that I don’t know why I have made you my friend. For once, I am enjoying excitement because someone wants to meet me. He feels like a soul mate, yaar, and here you are giving lectures. It is like I have met my dream boyfriend. But he is such an ass that he hasn’t sent me his picture. So I don’t know what he looks like. He must be a handsome hulk, I bet.”

“Do you really think that a man who chats under the atrocious name of Paplu of the Gizmos will be a smart man?” asked Mili caustically.

“You bet. But can anyone know that a beauty like me goes under the name The Joker Geek? I bet he will be a dream boat and very handsome and smart too,” sighed Geeti whimsically.

“I hope you haven’t sent your photograph,” Mili wondered with concern.

“No, I have not, guardian angel. When will you stop patronising and monitoring me like an interfering warden?” asked Geeti balefully.

“Till someone comes to keep you in check,” said Mili.

“Uuh! No one but the very exceptional can keep me in check. Banish any other thought, lady!” scoffed Geeti as she got out her best dress and started getting ready.

“Where are you meeting him?” asked Mili.

“At the Sunflower,” replied Geeti.

“What time have you given him?” asked Mili.

“Eight,” answered Geeti shortly.

“Then why are you going so early?” asked Mili.

Geeti explained, “I have to check up on the latest Playstation he told me about. He says it is magic. I bet he is magic. I want to see his face when I gift it to him and now stop haranguing me. I am going. Bye.”

“Do your parents know?” asked the undeterred Mili.

“No! And you keep your trap shut. If you dare tell
them, you will be dead meat,” warned Geeti as she rushed out to her own car. She drove down to the best shop for the latest gizmos.

“I want the Playstation,” commanded Geeti as soon as she reached the counter of the shop she loved to frequent and she gave them the details that she had got from the Internet, from her Paplu of the Gizmos.

The salesman recognised her as she came very regularly to buy the latest inventions in gadgetry. They showed her the latest one and she loved tne Playstation and said, “Please pack it. I will pay by credit card.”
